Customer Service ????!!!!!

It's odd that after six months of using this salon and the same stylist the following just occurred: At 9am on the Thursday morning of my last appointment (the appointment was scheduled at 1pm) I received a phone call from a female receptionist advising me that my stylist was "out sick," however, the stylist would be "stopping in later that day to reschedule her appointments and that someone would call me back." After not hearing back from the salon, I left an after-hours voicemail that weekend (with "Michelle," the name/voice on their message) requesting a callback to reschedule the appointment. Then, the following week, I again called back to the salon after still not hearing anything, only to be put on hold by another female receptionist. "Michelle" then came on the line after a 4 minute hold, and advised me that the female stylist (who had styled my hair 3 times already) "no longer wished to cut my hair" and that Michelle's Salon/ Trendsetters would not be scheduling me for any further appointments. Odd behavior to me, especially considering the several referals I had sent directly to both that stylist and Michelle's Salon (and have the "Thank You"/discount cards to prove it)!!
